On Tuesday (1st of October) I turned 21 and in doing so became a proper fully-fledged grown up person. (Ahh!)

Simply put, it was one of the nicest (birth)days I’ve ever had and I cannot thank my family and friends enough for how generous and lovely they were and how special they made it.

Because I’m greedy, I celebrated both at home in Hertfordshire, and at university in York. It was basically a birthmonth and I’m definitely OK with that. My family, not so much.

So basically I feel like the luckiest girl in the world and I should probably end this post before I get a bit over sentimental. I think it’s probably a bit late for that anyway.
