It’s hot girl short story summer!! 🌞

Our breastfeeding journey came to an end a couple of weeks ago and it’s taken me a while to process the hardest, most rewarding thing I’ve ever done.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that once you become a mother, you will only want to read about motherhood. Or maybe that’s just me?

Not been getting much reading done lately.

When you realise that nursery is open on bank holidays and you can have a morning to yourself at the writing desk 😌✍️

✨Monday moodboard ✨ We’re back with another moodboard for one of my oldest and most favourite short stories! A Difficult Birth is about the strange journey into a forest for a new mother. Ironically it was written before I was a mother so I have been reviewing and redrafting recently with fresh eyes and my own experience.

Not sure how we got here but my baby is one! 🎈 Thank you for giving me the happiest year of my life. I can’t wait to watch you keep growing and to be by your side every step of the way 🌿

Wrote a heartfelt blog post about motherhood and creativity, and how @me_mother_other helped me rediscover my writing voice. Definitely didn’t cry writing this one. Link is in my bio if you want to read the whole thing! 🩵
