I love living in Yorkshire and I had the opportunity to visit the surrounding countryside at the weekend with some friends. Cue climbing on rocks, frolicking in fields and a great pub lunch.
I love the layering of colours in the first few photographs. It was a misty start to the morning but the sun came out later in the day to burn through the clouds in an interesting way. It’s always annoying living in a county where it’s cloudy most of the time because my photos never have great natural sunny lighting, so it’s always good to find beauty in unique lighting. Thankfully it’s been a lot sunnier here in recent days which gives me the perfect opportunity to get my camera out a lot more. My recent excursions have inspired me to take more photos and to try and find good shots even on the most gloomiest of days or in the most mundane of places.
